Présentation du conférencier / Bio of the guest-speaker

Prof. Paolo Nitti is a lecturer of First and Second Language Teaching, and Applied Linguistics in the Facoltà di Lettere, Università degli Studi ECampus. He is the Coordinator of the Masters program Nuova Didattica delle Lingue, at the Università degli Studi ECampus.
He wrote more than 150 scientific papers and three research monographs: La grammatica nell’insegnamento dell’italiano per stranieri, Didattica della lingua italiana per gruppi disomogenei and Didattica dell’italiano L2 dall’alfabetizzazione allo sviluppo della competenza testuale, published by Editrice La Scuola.
He is a member of many scientific committees and editorial boards of academic journals, the Codirector of the scientific journal Lingua e Testi di Oggi and Vice-Director of Scuola e Didattica.
He is a member of many academic associations and research groups involved in language teaching and research, such as SLI, PHRASIS, SILFI, CRAD, STORIOSS, CRIFLI, CIRSIL, SPIIL2G, LI&TE.
His research interests concern the teaching of Italian language to nonnative speakers, primary reading and writing skills for adults, and the sexistic uses of the Italian language.
