THE (COGNITIVE) “KEY TO THE HEARTS OF MEN”: the Perlocutionary Power of Political Narratives.

Keynote speaker: Philip Seargeant, the Open University (UK)

The Centre d’Études Linguistiques – Corpus, Discours et Sociétés (University of Lyon – Jean Moulin Lyon 3) will organize a symposium on May 16, 2025. The theme is political narratives and their use in political discourse. Please don’t hesitate to submit an abstract if you’re interested.

Submissions should include an abstract (up to 500 words, excluding references) as well as a short biography and should be sent to:
