The journal invites papers on lexicology and covers a good range of topics in its area-some of its core strengths are listed below. It has a clear identity and the papers are consistent in quality. The journal meets the Scopus criteria and my recommendation is a positive one. I believe the journal can further diversify its editorial board and increase its visibility in the web. A number of excellent colleagues are supporting the journal and a lot can be achieved by mobilising the board to select thematic issues and promote the journal more actively. In all, the journal is important for the discipline and I do hope its being included on Scopus it will further support its growth.

+ The journal consistently includes articles that are scientifically sound and relevant to an international academic or professional audience in this field.
+ The journal has scholarly relevance as evidenced by citations in other journals currently covered by Scopus.
+ Peer review type is clearly stated and is supported by appropriate reviewer guidelines.
+ The journal has clear aims and scope/journal policies that are consistent with the journal’s content.
